Screen calls at the COVID-19 hotline call center
This is a hotline for staff and patients to call with concerns related to exposure, upcoming appointments, or general information about COVID-19. Calls are initially screened by non-clinical staff and sent to a nurse line for triage and further information if needed. The hotline is currently open from 8AM-5PM but due to high call volume and demand the center has been asked to expand coverage to 24/7.
The call center is in need of 6-8 volunteers to screen calls during each shift over the next couple of weeks. Shift times are 8AM-5PM, 4PM-1AM and 12AM-9AM. This job is suitable for all class levels as it is a non-clinical position. Students interested will need to meet with call center team member via Zoom to review the workflow, script, and phone use.
The call center is located at 101 W Ponce de Leon Ave in Decatur and students will be required to work from the center as there are not enough phone sets for home use. Parking and building access will be arranged for students.
